Thank you for publishing " 'Science Guy' Taking a Stand Against Creationism" (Sept. 25) about the stand of Bill Nye "The Science Guy" against creationism.

Many of the less-enlightened states and communities have sought to get creationism into school curricula. The dissemination of authoritative and fact-based information is key to giving science its deserved role in education and thought in the United States.
