Romney's gaffes
Share with others:
I shudder when I think of the damage to U.S. relationships with other countries if Mitt Romney ever has to deal with the seasoned diplomats of Europe or Asia. Early in the campaign, Mr. Romney made a stop in Pittsburgh and was entertained at an informal reception in a mostly middle-class suburb. He was offered cookies, about which he made a comment considered insulting to the host. At other times, he made other gaffes that kept his staff scurrying to smooth over.
Certainly if he could not tactfully refuse an unwanted pastry in a casual social setting, he is not qualified to negotiate international life-and-death issues.
Vote for President Barack Obama!
