Rogers backfires

Rob Rogers' cartoon on Jan. 24, ("Arm the fetuses," showing a fetus in utero, holding a gun) was, without a doubt, the best anti-abortion cartoon I have ever seen. His attempt at ridiculing gun owners seems to have, ahem, backfired!

How could the brilliant cartoonist have missed this obvious point? What delicious irony!
