Roadway kudos

When I came out of our house into the snow Wednesday morning, wary about the drive to work, I found all the snow cleared from the main roads into Oakland and the traffic moving almost normally. All the family got to work safely and on time.
This has happened several times during this all-too-long winter. So I want to thank the city's road crews for working so hard and effectively to make the roads safe and the driving easy for the rest of us. The bad memories of the winter of 2010 are fading fast.
