Revamp Congress

Well, here we are trying to balance the budget again. I have a few suggestions.
First, make Congress work a five-day week and then we wouldn't need as many members and would save money.
Second, cut out all the perks such as gas, food, insurance. That saves money.
Third, do away with congressional districts. Let elections for the U.S. House members be statewide and everyone's vote counts.
Fourth, change the amount of time those elected to Congress can serve: Senate -- three six-year terms and no more; House -- three three-year terms and no more. That way, they won't get a chance to get too chummy with certain groups.
After all, the president can serve only two four-year terms.
Some members of Congress stay until they are ready for the undertaker. It must be a gravy job.
