PSU degrees should not be tarnished by the Sandusky scandal
Share with others:
The students of Penn State University past, present and future are angry that their beloved university is being associated with the actions of one person, Jerry Sandusky. Who is to blame for Jerry Sandusky's actions? One person and one person only is to blame: Jerry Sandusky.
Through the hard work and persistence of our legal system, he was tried and found guilty of 45 counts. Why was he not arrested and brought to trial in 2001? Jerry Sandusky continued to molest these young men until someone had the courage to stand up and do something. The innocent young men who came forward and testified at the trial deserve to be honored and respected for their bravery.
The students of Penn State University have worked very hard to achieve their goals in life and to earn their degrees. When you, the employer, receive a resume with Penn State University credentials on it, know that you are interviewing an exceptionally qualified applicant who is dedicated to his or her profession.
Penn State students and families: Stand up and speak out. Do not allow yourselves to be victimized by the actions of this man.
