Political robbery

We were robbed of our children by a war based on fabrications and inaccurate assumptions. We were robbed of our pride to be Americans abroad by the lies our government told its allies to justify our aggression. We were robbed of our financial security by government inaction and political appointees who showed up to work for the money instead of fulfilling their responsibilities.
We are being robbed of our neighbors and friends by politicians who work to polarize us by promoting intolerance at the expense of any who differs with their point of view. Our wives and daughters are being robbed of their right of self-determination by old white men in power who still think of aspirin as birth control and have forgotten that illegal abortions used to kill our daughters.
To further a political franchise, our senior citizens are being robbed of their right to vote by repressive legislation that makes it difficult to vote. Our elders are being robbed by politicians who want to resolve fiscal issues they created by taking money from promises made to our senior citizens. We are being robbed of our children, mothers and fathers by a political agenda that makes it easier for deranged people to purchase a gun than to get a driver's license and purchase a car.
America needs to restore its honor, common sense, civility and leadership at home and abroad. Americans can restore all these with their most powerful right, the right to vote.
