Penn State truths

It was not blue. It was not white. The sky last Saturday in State College was gray and cloudy, much like the events that have unfolded over the course of almost a year. Many questions remain and absolute truths will be difficult to determine. What became clear was that The Pennsylvania State University and its community will refuse to be defined by the actions of one (or a few, depending on your perspective).
The final score did not matter. It was just a football game. The media can create whatever narrative it chooses, but the true culture of our university will continue. Penn State's positive contributions to society are too many to list and should not be diminished. If you don't believe me, then I encourage you to research a little further and come to your own conclusions.
If you are a student, alumnus, faculty member or affiliated in any way, be proud to wear your blue and white. If not, remember that one bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch.
