The Post-Gazette did a good thing by featuring the Clairton Bears' record-breaking championship victory on the Nov. 24 front page, in a very thoughtful, community-focused article by J. Brady McCollough ("The Pride of Clairton: Sweet 60," last of four parts). I only wonder how our communities would further benefit if high school science or art clubs were heralded with the same fervent esteem as men's sports.
