Megabus is a great option, so find it a home

I've been following the relocation of the Megabus stop with interest and was sorry to read that the move from the convention center to Gateway Center has been canceled. I'm writing to express my support for the continuation of Megabus service in Pittsburgh and hope that city officials will continue to work with Megabus to find an appropriate location for the Megabus stop. This isn't just a business dispute -- bus service is important for the people of Pittsburgh and the region.
It is fantastic that we now have access to cheap, comfortable and reliable bus service to nearby cities. My family and I recently took Megabus to visit Washington, D.C., for a few days. We were pleased with the service and enjoyed visiting D.C. without a car. The price of our four tickets -- $40 total -- was less than we would have paid for gas, not to mention parking in the city.
As a college professor, I also know that college students use Megabus frequently. It has helped them expand their range of travel options, making it easier for them to visit other cities and, in some cases, make trips home. However this issue is resolved, I hope that Pittsburgh will keep Megabus, which has been a great addition to our transportation options.
