LCB slam dunk

For me, and thousands like me, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board issue is the last straw. The Republicans control the Legislature and the governor's office and cannot pass a "slam dunk" conservative issue such as privatization of the anachronistic, anti-free enterprise state liquor stores.
As usual, Pennsylvania retains its title of the most backward, backwater state in the union. Bible Belt states are not this ignorant and we still live as though the Volstead Act were the law of the land. Why can't Pennsylvanians be treated like adults and be afforded free choice like their counterparts nationwide? The simple answer is that Pennsylvania has the oldest population in the country and the populace never travels anywhere, thereby creating mental incest. Millions of dollars leech into our border states because the PLCB stores offer no choice, high prices and inconvenient hours and days of operation.
One common fallacy circulated by free choice opponents is that the rural areas will be underserved. I beg these "no-nothings" to boldly venture into Michigan or Virginia, et. al, and observe that is certainly a false statement, as the present system handicaps rural folks to a greater degree as the rural grocery stores will carry food, beer and wine, a.k.a. "one stop shopping." Hey liberals, just think about how much energy this will save.
Therefore, I request that the Republicans show solidarity on at least one truly conservative issue and quickly vote to eliminate this ugly vestige of the past. If you can't pass this, what chance will we have on truly important issues, such as "right-to-work". If this is not done, without any hybridization, then do not send me any literature for campaign contributions or volunteer work.
