Lazy Legislature

Somebody please help me! Am I hearing what I am hearing? Rep. Daryl Metcalfe of Cranberry says that people who do not get the proper ID to vote are lazy.
Last time I checked the state Legislature will be in session for 70 days in 2012, not counting any special session requests by the governor. Talk about lazy. Mr. Metcalfe's own Republican leadership sets the legislative calendar.
With all members pulling down at least $82,000 a year plus perks, that tabulates to well over $1,000 for every time legislators find the time to meet in a legislative session. What a sweet deal.
Mr. Metcalfe, you owe the people of this commonwealth more than an apology -- you owe them a refund.
