The Greater Pittsburgh International Airport is only 20 percent operational. Stores that want to increase business have huge "sales" or offer discounts.
I realize the airport is not a store but it desperately needs much more traffic and airline service. The airlines have to be encouraged to service Pittsburgh. Cut the landing fees in half or more. Incentives have to be very inviting.
Revenues will be made up by the increased traffic and passenger spending. Airport authorities have to be extremely aggressive and go for it.
