Somebody please help me out here! It seems that the Republican Party, whose policies, philosophy and approach are largely responsible for the myriad difficulties our country is facing today, would have us return to those same policies, philosophy and approach to fix what they broke. Huh? Not so fast, I say!
As one of their very own, George W. Bush, once so famously said, and I quote: "Fool me once, shame on ... (awkward pause) ... shame on you ... (second awkward pause) ... fool me -- can't get fooled again!"
I couldn't have said it any better! (Well, actually I could have.)
