Help out, teens

My neighbor recently passed away at the age of 98. He was lucky enough to be able to stay in his own home. He was not able physically or financially to have snow removed from his sidewalk and steps. Where are the young people who should be taught community service and reaching out to the elderly? Not one of them touched his snow.

If I had a teenager, he or she would be out shoveling snow for our elderly neighbors, not for pay but for doing the right thing.
