Hazardous walks

Another winter has arrived. Again, I am writing about the same problem: unshoveled sidewalks. I walk my dog on Bartlett Street, Wightman Street, Beacon Street, etc. You get the picture. Absentee landlords, snowbirds, real estate companies that are selling houses and other unthoughtful people do not shovel their sidewalks.

I watched an elderly man fall one morning on one of these sidewalks. I am always afraid that it will be me one day.

When is our city going to enforce the law and come down on these people? Just imagine how much money the city is losing out on. Come on, decent citizens, start to complain, call 311 and write letters to the editor. Get our sidewalks cleared of snow.
