Such a tragedy that cannot be understood. Horrific and unimaginable. However, if people think this is not the time to talk about gun safety, then they are the couch potatoes that we think they are. We need to talk about it right now and smack people in the face with it. To be able to get automatic guns so easily is a travesty. If this guy had only a regular pistol (like the one I own), not nearly as many kids would have died.
The ridiculous theory that if more people had automatic guns this kind of stuff wouldn't happen is a fairy tale. Adam Lanza's mother was a gun enthusiast. Did that save her from being killed? She had all those guns around and it didn't help her.
Yeah, guns don't do the killings, people do the killings. That is exactly why these people shouldn't have access to automatic weapons as they do. Why do you think we don't want Iran to have nuclear missiles? The missiles don't shoot themselves. People push the button. That is why deranged people shouldn't have automatic weapons or nuclear weapons.
Wake up. Sadly, there are now 20 children who will never wake up again!
