GOP raiding

This is in response to Tom Weller of Richland ("Blame the Dems," Dec. 9). Republican presidents have also raided the Social Security trust funds. George W. Bush started two wars, gave the wealthy tax breaks and raided the Social Security trust funds each year he was in office by billions of dollars. The biggest raid was in 2007 -- $190 billion.

I get my information from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. Check the facts.
