God loves us all

I am writing in response to the Oct. 7 Forum piece "It's Not a Gay Thing" by Ron Pedersen Jr. He took exception to Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy's opposition to gay marriage and called that opinion "archaic." I would describe Mr. Cathy's opinion as (biblically) "accurate."

While Mr. Pedersen and I hold some very different opinions, I do agree with him that God loves each of us and commands each of us to do the same.

We should not depend on someone else's interpretation of the Bible, but take the time to read and understand it ourselves and enjoy a personal relationship with Him.
