Future light rail

A hearty congratulations to Kevin M. Creagh and Steve DiMiceli on their light-rail proposal to the north suburbs using the North Shore Connector as the jumping off point ("Go North, Light Rail," The Next Page, Dec. 23).

Although the proposal might spur some debate on the specific stops (e.g., why not take it into heavily congested Cranberry along Route 19?), this exciting proposal -- along with other deserving projects -- should be considered as part of Gov. Tom Corbett's soon-to-be-announced statewide transportation plan.

One minor map edit; it is route 65 (not 60) that runs along the Ohio River.
