Fort Hood shootings

Why are we debating whether Maj. Nidal Hasan can be tried with a beard? This killer should never have seen the sunset on that fateful day of shooting his fellow brothers in uniform. He had the "smoking gun" in his hands; there were many witnesses and dead bodies. The witnesses and wounded could have testified. His trial should have lasted one hour: Trial, jury deliberation, verdict of his peers, firing squad.

Game over.

There are many similar cases that I could mention. Anyone getting the death penalty should have one appeal in one year and, if the verdict is the same, no more appeals.
