For the birds

There seems to be a few things that need to be explained to Hank Snell, whose letter to the editor "Critter Controllers" appeared in the Feb. 18 Post-Gazette. "The Birds" was not a documentary; it was a work of fiction. To suggest that all birds have violent tendencies toward humans is laughable. A "murder" of crows, indeed! Second, you may not also realize that domesticated cats are not a native species to the American continents. Humans bringing domestic house cats here were what first interfered with "God's natural plan."
