Fix the train station

As a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area for more than 80 years, I have always been proud of our city. However, I am ashamed of the Amtrak station located on the lower level of the Pennsylvania Railroad building facing Liberty Avenue.

The Amtrak location and its parking facilities are atrocious. It is quite a contrast to our beautiful airport and awesome view as one enters the city from the Fort Pitt Tunnel.

The ugliness of the Amtrak location is magnified by the dark, rusted bridge crossing Liberty Avenue connecting the train station to the new bus terminal. Can anything be done to improve the Amtrak station?
