I never thought that I'd be happy to see the inane commercials that we usually have to endure as we watch TV. But after this election, I'm thrilled to be able not to see any more political ads! And my faith in the American people has been restored.
After being brutalized by lies, sorta truths and just plain baloney, the people have seen through them all and have proved that billions of dollars from bogus "citizens groups" couldn't buy an election! The Koch brothers and their ilk have failed.
I never thought I'd see Americans standing in line for hours to vote. I'm so proud of them all! The people have spoken and the hatemongers have lost. GOP, take a good, long look at yourself and with whom you associate. Yinz might just have a chance the next time around.
And somewhere in the distance, Big Bird is smiling. God bless the United States of America!
