Cut the House
Share with others:
The first cut in the U.S. budget that should be enacted in response to the forced "sequester" demands should be the salaries, health care, pensions, transportation, etc., of the do-nothing "Tea Party-ers" and their Republican allies in our House of Representatives.
There is no reason to trash our economy by starting with cuts on our hard-working air traffic controllers or Head Start teachers when there is clearly a place to cut -- the House of Representatives, many of whose salaried employees are defiantly unwilling to work, despite costing us plenty in nice salaries and excellent benefits.
We, their employers, should refuse to support them financially while they are spending all their time having tantrums and leaving on vacation, and none of their time in honest attempts to collaborate on the work of our government that they were hired to do.
