Corbett's priorities

I found it interesting to see what our governor's priorities are for the coming year ("Corbett Lists Priorities," Nov. 20). I understand pensions and transportation. What I don't get is why privatizing liquor sales should have a higher priority than education, health care or the environment.

I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised given what he did to education funding last year. He certainly kept his promise not to raise taxes; of course, he forced many school boards to raise their taxes.

Privatizing liquor sales will not save the state any money and will probably cost jobs. Nice to know what is important to Gov. Tom Corbett.
