Congressional bullies

Like many Americans, I'm disappointed that the economy hasn't recovered faster. But when I think about the behavior of Congress over the last four years, I'm more disgusted than disappointed!
The Republicans have spent more time, energy and money trying to stymie President Barack Obama than getting the country back on track. It's common knowledge they've blocked ideas that were promoted by them in the past just to continue the stall. Getting Mr. Obama out of office trumps their desire to help the country recover!
This is akin to the grade school bully, after striking out, grabbing the ball and running away, stating he'll only return the ball when he's given another chance to bat. Often other kids give in because they just want to play ball already!
It's bad enough when this behavior happens on the schoolyard, but is this really how we want our government to behave?
