City service is awful

I initiated a report regarding an increasing sinking of the brick section of Ebdy Street in Squirrel Hill, parallel to the Minadeo School playground. The first area became a second and then a third area of depressions in a stretch of street that is traveled extensively. The first area is many feet wide and was first reported in March 2011. The second is also several feet wide, but less than that of the first area. I wrote to Doug Shields, who was a city councilman at the time, and his successor Corey O'Connor and called the 311 number of the city numerous times and taped a message to the principal of Minadeo School as well as had a conversation with the latter. No results.

Even worse, I called 311 again to get some action relative to a severely tilted tree on the bank of Frick Park along Forbes and was told that I needed a street address in order for the operator to fill out a proper report. I told them that neither the cemetery nor the bank of Frick Park has a street address.

Worst city service I have ever encountered. I am only interested in action.
