Church injustice

It saddens me that the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh refuses to save St. Nicholas Church from demolition or even allow another party to purchase it, yet can spend a ridiculous $72 million (yes, million) on a new high school in Cranberry -- far away from the urban Catholic schools that are closing left and right. This is an injustice.

It's no wonder people are leaving the Catholic faith and not looking back. The first Croatian church in American history will be gone because of the stubborn ignorance and misguided ways of Catholic officials. Another sad travesty.
