In response to Rob Rogers' Aug. 19 editorial cartoon about hatred directed toward the Family Research Council: We have two choices in this political climate.
The first, your cartoon, fuels the flames of hatred.
The second is the message of civility by President Barack Obama after the shooting of congresswoman Gabby Giffords.
My choice: Extinguish the flame!
