Childish leaders

I am writing in response to the front-page story "Can the Divide Be Mended?" (Nov. 8). After reading to the fourth paragraph, the answer is a big no!
If House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell can't get out of bed to answer a phone call from the president of the United States, then neither is ready for change.
As has been said, the Republicans' "old boys club" better grow up.
If I received a phone call from President Obama, you can bet I would accept the call. He deserves respect from everyone!
Ever the little boys who are leaders? Please grow up! The game can't be played if the Republicans have the mindset of 2-year-olds.
