Columnist Maureen Dowd's expose of Dick Cheney ("Vice Comes Clean -- He Was the Real President, and He Stands By All of His Mistakes," March 7) should be required reading for all those who were blind enough to believe in this man from day one. She says charitably that he should repent. By rights, he should be made to atone, but, as his past record shows, he will probably avoid and abscond.
Regardless, Ms. Dowd did a masterful job by proving that the obvious for some is what is never seen until someone expresses it frankly.
