Call it what it is

How sad yet predictable that the state parks director, John Norbeck, has been terminated by the Corbett administration. How dare a champion of conserving natural resources be allowed to exercise a philosophy that works to preserve our beautiful state lands for people to enjoy for generations to come.

If indeed the administration has decided to go in a different direction amenable to commercial timbering and drilling, I think it would be fitting to rename the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources the Department of Parks and Degradation. This, at least, might afford a degree of transparency.
