Hats off to letter writer Ike Gittlen for one of the most precise descriptions of the divide in the politics and the people of our country that I have seen ("This Election Is Highlighting a Troubling Path for Our Nation," Oct. 30). Thanks to him for writing it and to the Post-Gazette for publishing it.
