A new nightmare

Am I better off now? You bet your sweet tooth I am. I'm getting older, but I'm holding my own economically and in health care.
I remember well the years from 2000 to 2008 -- years loaded with Republican falsehoods: from the war in Iraq, to voter fraud in Florida, to the fraudulent decision by the Supreme Court to give the 2000 election to the great "swagger man" George W. Bush and "hatchet man" Dick Cheney.
So what did the voters learn from the complete mess the Republicans made for this nation when they controlled it for eight years?
I know this: Pennsylvania voters, especially Democrats, and editors of the Post-Gazette learned very little; you went to the polls in 2010 and elected Gov. Tom Corbett and his cronies. Look what that got you -- a new nightmare! Tom Corbett-Mitch McConnell-John Boehner. Yoi!
Paul Ryan-Mitt Romney. Double yoi!
