It was sad to read of Barbara Cloud's passing on Sept. 14 ("Fashion Editor Exuded Beauty Inside, Out," Sept. 16). Her columns would share life experiences that somehow always spoke to your heart.
On Sundays, I would search for her column first. Over morning coffee, you would read how she didn't like her favorite lipstick color discontinued, her pride of Downtown Pittsburgh and her love of family and friends.
In her obituary, many accomplishments were listed. But somehow, what was between the lines of her journalism put her in a class all her own.
