A child's funeral

p>I would like to see Wayne LaPierre, CEO of the NRA, go to the funeral of the innocent 6-year-old who was killed and explain to her father how the Second Amendment allowed the alleged shooter to buy an assault weapon with a magazine that held 100 bullets. I am sure he won't because he would rather spend his time lobbying the spineless politicians in both parties, including President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, that allow this type of carnage to continue.

I totally understand that people want guns for hunting and target shooting. I also understand how people want weapons to defend themselves or their homes, but unless we have a zombie apocalypse or we're invaded by a foreign power, both of which seem very unlikely, I see absolutely no reason a person outside the military should own these types of weapons.

Mr. LaPierre, after you've attended the funeral of the 6-year-old there will be at least 11 more for you to attend. Oh, take some of the politicians that the NRA owns with you. Let them gaze upon the cold body of an innocent 6-year-old victim of their weak spines.
