When the meteorologists are feeling depressed, you know it's been a tough winter.
Brace yourselves, Pittsburgh: More snow is on the way.
Bob Coblentz, meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Moon, said the forecast calls for 4 to 6 inches of snow in the Pittsburgh metro area. The storm system will likely move into the Pittsburgh metro area sometime between 4 and 5 p.m. Sunday, and snow will continue through Monday afternoon.
"My family is all ready to kick me out," Coblentz joked of the winter weather that has persisted locally, even though it's officially spring.
He said it was still early, and that the storm's track could affect accumulation. But other than that? "Wish. Wish real hard for spring," he said.
