Parkway North HOV to reopen for afternoon rush

The Parkway North HOV lanes will be open this afternoon after a problem with the Bedford Avenue gate kept the lanes closed through the morning rush hour.
PennDOT spokesman Jim Struzzi said a mechanical problem with the bolts on a gate at Bedford Avenue caused the closure. The problem has been corrected, he said.
Traffic was backed up beyond the Camp Horne Road interchange at the height of rush hour around 8 a.m.
