A series of crashes this morning snarled traffic on the Parkway West and Route 28.

Crashes on the Parkway West occurred on both sides of the highway near Carnegie before 7 a.m., snarling traffic in both directions. At least six vehicles were involved in the inbound crash.

State police said this afternoon that no one was injured.

On inbound Route 28, crashes occurred near Millvale and RIDC, backing traffic beyond the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Harmar.

State police said troopers were still on the scene of the parkway crashes and that additional information was not yet available.
