Bus, light rail detours for Station Square next week

People taking buses or the light rail into Station Square should be aware of detours overnight next Monday through Thursday, the Port Authority announced today.
The Port Authority plans to close the Mt. Washington Transit Tunnel from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. each night for as part of a rail-grinding project. Light rail lines will run through the Allentown line, bypassing Station Square.
A shuttle will transport people between the First Avenue station and Station Square. Buses will stop on East Carson Street at the Smithfield Street Bridge.
