Video: Auto show draws GOP presidential hopefuls

The North American International Auto Show, held in Detroit's Cobo Center, is a great place to shop for cars of the future.

But judging from the attention the show got from Republican presidential candidates, it's a pretty good place to shop for votes, too.

All three major contenders -- Sen. John McCain, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee -- found time to mingle with auto show patrons. And McCain brought a guest, Democrat-turned-independent Joe Lieberman, the senator from Connecticut who has endorsed his candidacy.

Each of the candidates drove home the idea that the auto industry still has fuel in its tank.

Today's vote will be an indication of which candidate's message found the largest audience.
