• VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System invites the public to participate in open-house activities Feb. 12-18 during the National Salute to Veteran Patients. To participate, call 412-822-3096.

• The Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center, in conjunction with the School of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh, is sponsoring "The Question of God: A Panel of Faith, Psychiatric and Psychoanalytic Perspectives" from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Bigelow Conference and Reception Center, 4338 Bigelow Blvd., Oakland. • The Jewish Sports Hall of Fame is sponsoring an Indoor Triathlon, comprising a swim, bike ride and run, at noon Feb. 19 at the Squirrel Hill location of the Jewish Community Center, 5738 Forbes Ave. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with awards given at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $25, $20 for those 15 and younger, and parent child teams are welcome. • The Family Life Auxiliary of the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation is holding "A Sweet Gesture" from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Feb. 14 at LeMont Restaurant, 1114 Grandview Ave., Mount Washington. Tickets cost $175 per person. Call 412-692-3933.

• The Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center is the beneficiary of a performance of the Pittsburgh Public Theater's "Freud's Last Session" at 6:30 p.m. March 3 at the O'Reilly Theater, 621 Penn Ave., Cultural District.
