Documentary on MS athlete set to premiere

A documentary on the battle Penn Hills native and athlete Tony Lonero fought to overcome multiple sclerosis will premiere at the Linton Middle School, 250 Aster St., at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
A 1977 graduate of Penn Hills High School, Mr. Lonero went on to play baseball at Louisiana State University, in the Italian Professional Baseball League, and on Italy's Olympic team. He says growing up in Penn Hills is what gave him the strength to overcome the debilitating disease. Admission is free to the hourlong film, "Ride to the Finish."
