Performing on the PSSA: An in-depth look

Today, the Pitttsburgh Post-Gazette is launching a new online tool aimed at making it easier to understand the thousands of figures on school testing recently released to the public. "How Is Your School Doing" is an online database with 77,322 data points across nearly 3,000 schools, broken down by gender, race and economic status, as well as other factors. Entering a student's basic demographic information to find how well their group scores compared to other students in the same school, how well their school scores within the district and which other local districts perform better.
