Job fairs planned for CCAC campuses across Allegheny County

Community College of Allegheny County has announced it will play host to job fairs and job-related events in February, March and April, open to the general public.
On the South campus, there will be a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 29 in the fourth-floor Commons. All job seekers are invited, particularly those interested in business, accounting information technology and engineering. There will be another job fair on the South campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 18 open to all job seekers, particularly those interested in education, child care, criminal justice and social service fields.
On the North campus, a job fair from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 8 in the atrium is open to all job seekers and will focus on business, information technology and finance.
On the Allegheny campus, a job fair from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 14 at the Foerster Student Service Center is open to all job seekers, particularly those interested in the human and social services fields.
On the Boyce campus, a college expo and job fair with the Monroeville Chamber of Commerce will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 13 at the student union.
CCAC recommends jobs seekers dress professionally and bring resumes to the job fairs.
In addition, the Allegheny campus will host "Get Working Wednesdays" from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Foerster Student Service Center throughout the semester. Various employers will host sessions on recruiting and information.
The North campus will host a resume clinic from noon to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. March 5 in the atrium, open to all job seekers.
The North campus also will host a session on working while disabled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 6 in Room 3024. An RSVP by March 2 to ehartle@ccac.edu is requested.
The Disney College Program, open to college students, will recruit from 2 to 4 p.m. March 14 at the Foerster Student Service Center on the Allegheny campus.
