Man shot, killed in East Liberty identified

The Allegheny County medical examiner's office has identified the man shot to death between two apartment buildings in East Liberty late Sunday night.
Pittsburgh police who went to the 300 block of North Negley Avenue just before midnight for a reported shooting found Lou Auer, 37, unconscious in a courtyard with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Police suspect two black males left the scene after the shooting. They have made no arrests.
Pittsburgh police asked anyone with information to call the homicide squad at 412-323-7161.
