Woman dies in Unity crash

A 25-year-old woman died today when her car collided with another car in Unity.

Janessa Fleming, 25, of Indiana, Pa., had stopped at a stop sign and was attempting to turn onto State Route 130 about 6:15 p.m. when a car heading westbound on State Route 130 hit the driver's side of her car, according to the Westmoreland County coroner's office.

Medics transported Ms. Fleming to the Excela Westmoreland emergency room, where she was pronounced dead about an hour later. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

State police in Greensburg are investigating.
