Seton Hill University trustee Daniel J. Wukich has pledged to give the school $2 million to create the Wukich Center for Entrepreneurial Opportunities and start some new programs for students, including a micro-loan fund to help students begin their own businesses.

The new center will be part of the business program at Seton Hill, which is one of three "signature degree programs," into which the university is making investments.

The center will try to help students understand the entrepreneur's mind set and prepare for a global market.

The center will create student scholars, intern programs and micro loans; promote other campus career and entrepreneurship resources; and support research and curriculum development for faculty.

"Dan Wukich's gift is a transformational one for Seton Hill that will enhance our ability to recruit talented undergraduate and graduate students," JoAnne Boyle, Seton Hill University president, said.

Seton Hill is a Catholic university in Greensburg.
