Teen killed in Westmoreland County collision

A teenager died this afternoon when the car he was driving crossed the center line and collided with another car in Derry Township.
Dylan Steffey, 18, of Jeannette was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened on Route 982 near Strawcutter Road shortly after 4 p.m. The Westmoreland County coroner's office said speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
State police in Greensburg are investigating. McClure & Jobe Funeral Home in Jeannette will coordinate funeral arrangements.
